NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR 'KEEP THIS CHANNEL OPEN' [08.11.12]
Welcome to dystopia!
Our new music video, which was created by the fantastic team at Channel 5 and broadcast on TV earlier this year, is inspired by the values of communication and human interaction against a backdrop which nods to good old post-apocalyptic films. Check out those suits and 1950s hairstyles - we had a lot of fun making this!
Next gig (single launch): 18 December at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen, London
'The video itself is a fun watch, complete with Shining-esque ‘creepy kid‘, sparse post-apocalyptic warehouse backdrops, and generally eerie “holy shit the whole world’s blown up and we gotta get out of here and make it all better again” feel – albeit with an impeccably dressed cast suitably resplendent in sharp vintage suits' Cougar Microbes

Video of Revere @ Standon Calling Festival
Montage video of us on stage at Standon Calling Festival. Soundtrack is the awesome her.eyes.like.static remix* of our track I Bet You Want Blood.
Oh, and there's some odd keyboard/guitar destroying action at 2'49"!!

REVERE & Toumani Diabaté - Love Will Tear Us Apart
London based seven-piece Revere took to the road as a stripped down quartet whilst supporting the legendary master of the kora, Toumani Diabaté, towards the end of 2011. Whilst on tour, this unlikely rendition of the Joy Division classic slowly took shape. When a break in the schedule permitted, the musicians entered a recording studio in London to finally lay down the track.
This video/tour diary was put together using footage from a variety of sources, from live material to fans' own footage.
