For those who haven't been on StageIt.com before, it is an online venue that allows us to stream exclusive LIVE concerts to you. The vibe is incredibly intimate and we will be performing from our lead singer's home.

Here's how it works according to the Stageit folks: Go to the Stageit website, click signup to set up an account and then click the GET TICKET button. You will then have an opportunity to purchase credits (which Stageit calls "Notes" ; 10 Notes = $1.00). Notes allow you to pay for tickets to see shows and to tip performers during the show. This show is "Pay What You Can," which means you can pay whatever you can afford (minimum 1 Note). Once you have Notes, they can be used for any show!}

LATEST FROM REVERE [19.01.13]

A very busy and exciting start to 2013 as we get everything in place for the release of our second album in the Spring.

For you BBC 6Music listeners, you may have caught our new single, Keep This Channel Open, which has been played frequently by the lovely Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson.

We're doing the final bits of recording for the album, and having a lot of fun making music videos in spooky Victorian Asylums ... we'll post the photos on here very soon.

And here's an extract from a great review of our December show at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen. Thanks to For Folk Sake

Stirring, passionate, and loud are all good words but can’t quite get it across. Interpol and Arcade Fire might be good comparisons at times but (as always) it’s much more complicated than that. 6Music legend Tom Robinson described one REVERE song as an “extraordinary widescreen, technicolor epic” ... Complementing the solid wall of sound was the best backdrop projection for a band I’ve seen. It was absolutely stunning during the crackly, distorted-vocal introduction, and felt to me like visuals for each song had been thought about carefully, rather than just looking like a media-player screen-saver...How you and I got this far without them [REVERE] in our lives I’ll never know.

NEW SINGLE RELEASED TODAY & LONDON GIG [26.11.12]

Our new single Keep This Channel Open is released today and available for just £0.69p on Amazon. Also available from iTunes.

Our last gig of 2012 is at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen on the 18th December where we will be playing more new songs from the forthcoming album, to be released Spring 2013.

For those of you not based in London, we are preparing to go on tour next year to promote the new album and we need your help. Where do YOU want Revere to play? If you want us to come to your hometown then all you have to do is click here and let us know. The cities/towns (UK and overseas) with the most votes will go to the top of our booking agent's picking list.

See you all live in person in 2013...!

NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR 'KEEP THIS CHANNEL OPEN' [08.11.12]

Welcome to dystopia!

Our new music video, which was created by the fantastic team at Channel 5 and broadcast on TV earlier this year, is inspired by the values of communication and human interaction against a backdrop which nods to good old post-apocalyptic films. Check out those suits and 1950s hairstyles - we had a lot of fun making this!

Buy the new single at Amazon or iTunes.

Click here to see the behind-the-scenes blog.

Next gig (single launch): 18 December at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen, London

'The video itself is a fun watch, complete with Shining-esque ‘creepy kid‘, sparse post-apocalyptic warehouse backdrops, and generally eerie “holy shit the whole world’s blown up and we gotta get out of here and make it all better again” feel – albeit with an impeccably dressed cast suitably resplendent in sharp vintage suits' Cougar Microbes

NEW SINGLE - 'KEEP THIS CHANNEL OPEN'

In the lead-up to the launch of REVERE's as-yet-untitled second album in Spring 2013 here is the second single, due for official release at the end of November.

Revere on Word Magazine CD

This month's Word Magazine CD features an exclusive, our cover of Joy Division's Love Will Tear Us Apart featuring Toumani Diabate on kora.

Paul Young was the first of many to cover the Joy Division anthem, but none have reworked it as radically as the collaboration between London’s Revere and Mali’s Toumani. Few things in life sound quite as lovely as when harp, kora, melodica and cello flow beautifully together. Word Magazine

REVERE & Toumani Diabaté - Love Will Tear Us Apart

London based seven-piece Revere took to the road as a stripped down quartet whilst supporting the legendary master of the kora, Toumani Diabaté, towards the end of 2011. Whilst on tour, this unlikely rendition of the Joy Division classic slowly took shape. When a break in the schedule permitted, the musicians entered a recording studio in London to finally lay down the track.

This video/tour diary was put together using footage from a variety of sources, from live material to fans' own footage.
